When my clients talk about the difficulties living with ADHD, I know I have lived them myself. I have always been fascinated by human behavior. This led me to devour books on psychology and philosophy. I was a deep thinker. Beginning at an early age, I struggled in certain circumstances where others seemed unbothered. This led me to try to fix it, to learn as much as I could. My pain was used as motivation. I needed a way out.

I received a degree in psychology (BA) and a Master’s in Public Administration (MPA). Although I have held various positions in both the public and private sectors ( the last 20 years spent helping run an interior design store), my interest in human behavior and motivation was still very present. I gained wisdom on how to best deal with my issues but still always had a hunger to find out more and do more. I asked myself, How can I turn this story around? How can I go from frustration to fulfillment?

I went to many therapists, most great people. They helped me process pain from the past and how it could be affecting my present behavior. Coaching, on the other hand, I found out is more future-oriented. It establishes strategies to achieve specific outcomes in personal and/or work life. After experiencing the transformation the coaching process had in my own life, I was eager to find out more. After plenty of research, I discovered the Attention Deficit Disorder Coaching Academy (ADDCA). The only ICF (International Coaching Federation - most prestigious coaching federation in the world) accredited coach training program dedicated to ADHD. ADDCA is also accredited by the Professional Association of ADHD Coaches (PAAC). I am an ACCG (professional) certified coach from ADDCA and hold a PCAC (professional) credential from the Professional Association of ADHD Coaches (PAAC).
